How Can I Find Someone on Facebook Using a Picture?

Finding someone by Facebook photo id is not as difficult as you might think it is. So many times we want to use Facebook to reconnect with an old friend or make new friends. Sometimes we are simply curious, who sent us a message or status update. No matter what your reason, here is how to locate someone by Facebook photo id. Using this trick will reveal not only the person’s name but their location, email address, photos, and even more information.

What is the Reverse Image Search Option?

So, just what is so great about doing a reverse image search on Facebook? First of all, you do not have to be a computer expert in order to do this. It really only takes minutes of your time! All you have to do is:-

  • Go to the Facebook profile page for the individual, click “search,”
  • On the next screen, click” uploading files,”
  • then choose one of the folders named “images.”
  • Once you have chosen an uploader, wait a few seconds
  • then click on the arrow at the top of the screen that says “download images.”

Once you have downloaded the images you can then use these tools on the Facebook photo search page for identifying the person in the photo, which was how to find someone by Facebook photo id before.

Reverse Image Trick on Other Search Engines

You can also use the same trick on other websites such as MySpace and Squidoo. Just go to the photo albums or search engines for those websites and then on the bottom right-click on the link that says “link to someone.” This will take you to a page where you can click on the link to the person that you are trying to locate. The only difference here is that instead of an individual’s name, there is a Facebook picture search icon. You can use the right-click feature to save the image and then you can use the mouse to click and drag the link to the person that you are trying to locate.

How to find someone on facebook by photo?

If the photo has been uploaded within the past 24 hours, you may be able to determine the user through their Facebook profile information. Look at the upper left corner on the main page. There is a link that says “Find Friends,” which takes you to a page that allows you to select a location where you want to search. Click on it will take you to a list of different locations for you to upload your photo. You can click on each location that you are interested in and upload your photo there.

This can be done by right-clicking on the picture and then clicking “upload now.” After it is complete, you will see a message stating that your file is uploading. Click the “new tab” and you will be taken to a new tab where you will see the newly uploaded picture. At the top of the screen there is a “reverse image search” link. Right click on that link and it will take you to another window with a “search for me” link.

Advanced Search Option

The “advanced search” link in the upper left corner of the screen will take you to an advanced search option where you can enter the photo id of the Facebook photo. Enter that photo id and click the search button. The advanced search option lets you choose different location searches as well as different ways of sorting the results.

Other Methods

If you are not interested in using the advanced search feature and simply want to narrow down your results, use the search box on the right side of the Facebook page. Using the text search box, enter the person’s name and/or picture ID. Use the up and down arrows to move up or down. When you have reached the desired results, the results will be shown in order of relevance. Your message will appear and you will be able to decide whether you want to share the information with the person or not. You might also be interested in knowing about Enhance The Google Reviews.
